RU Access Tutorial
A short, 8 minute video tutorial is now available here and includes instructions on how to log in, change your PIN, and navigate the site.
Your User ID
Your User ID is your Roosevelt University ID number beginning with 9. It may be found on your Roosevelt ID card following the 5-digit library code (23311).
Forgot your Roosevelt ID?
The Office of the Registrar can provide your ID number. Call 312-341-3535 or 847-619-7950 during business hours for assistance: Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Your PIN is your personal identification number or password. First time RU Access users and those who had their PIN reset: enter your birth date in MMDDYY format (for example, April 1, 1990 would be 040190). You will be asked to create a new 6-character PIN on the next page. Letters and digits may be combined. If your birth date does not work as an initial PIN, use the last six digits of your student or faculty ID number.
Forgot your PIN?
Enter your User ID and click the “Forgot PIN” button. After providing the correct answer to your security question, you will be prompted to enter a new PIN. If you are unable to reset your own PIN, you may call the Help Desk at 312-341-4357 or the Office of the Registrar at 312-341-3535 or 847-619-7950 during business hours: Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
